Recently at Monrovia High School, four students in the junior class were picked to go to Hoosier Girls and Boys State. The boys are Nick Stevens and Zach Stevens. The girls are Cheyenne Speck and Raquel Herrera-Garza. Hoosier State is a summer institution for young men and women from across Indiana to learn about their duties, privileges, rights and responsibilities of citizenship. It is a week where students learn the political system of Indiana. Our students will be attending HGS and HBS from June 21st to June 27th at Trine University. We are eager to hear from our students and staff this June about the experiences and memories made at Hoosier State this year.
