Matt Steinke broke the school record for the 300m hurdles at home on Tuesday. The atmosphere could not have been more fitting. It was Track and Field Senior Night. Matt was third all-time last year, and he became determined to be first. He put in work all off-season, focusing on his technique. His effort paid off as his name will stay on the record board after he leaves. When Matt found out he broke the record, he felt a huge weight lifted off of his shoulders. He would like to thank his coach Ms. Hagerty, his teammates and his family. Matt's favorite muffin is chocolate.
