Did you know that one out of every three people will be physically, verbally, and/or emotionally abused by his or her significant other? Did you know that out of a group of 40 people, at least 10 will be abused in some way by someone they once cared about? Monrovia High School recently hosted a Sheltering Wings convocation where volunteers from the women's shelter came to share their stories and to spread the word about abusive relationships. "Little signs like freaking out when you don`t call him or her back, starting to control your social life (which friends you can and cannot talk to) or even needing your passwords to everything can be a sign of an abusive relationship.” If you need help or know someone who needs help, start talking to people you trust.
