My Trip to Indiana State University

On September 9th, Khory Scaife and I went to visit ISU. When we arrived we immediately saw some familiar faces. As we walked into the welcome center the students working there greeted us with a smile! They welcomed us and made us feel at home even though we were strangers to them. Khory and I soon found ourselves walking around the campus trying to find food until we soon realized we were lost and found the nearest student for help. He showed us our way to the commons. The commons had us in awe, too much food for our minds to comprehend. Sadly Taco Bell and Pizza Hut had not opened yet, but there was a small shop that had everything from milkshakes to laundry detergent.
Our next adventure was maneuvering back to the welcome center for our first meeting with Ryan, the tour guide. It was very short because the ISU representative did his job for him the day before. He did inform us about local shops and things to do around Terre Haute then gave us our T-shirts and sent us on our way.
The dining hall welcomed us next. Admissions bought us lunch for coming to visit the campus! The lunch we ate was with all the other students and the lunch they eat daily. The food choice was endless. Khory and I tried to enjoy it all; Unlimited pizza, burgers, salad, Italian, small Japanese selection, and deserts. We filled up within 20 minutes from all this glorious cuisine. It made us that much more excited for college.
Our final meeting was a campus tour with Alexis. This was pretty fun and welcoming. She showed us each building that would fit what we wanted to major in. She showed us their recreation center that had a leisure pool, lap pool, suspended track on the second floor, weight center, three basketball courts, and a food bar. All in all, the campus seemed laid back, very enjoyable, and very welcoming.
