Hot Chocolate Float

Ingredients
2 cups whole milk
2 tablespoons cocoa powder
¼ cup sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
6 ounces chocolate chips
2 tablespoons chocolate sauce
Vanilla ice cream
Chocolate shavings


  1. Simmer milk in a small saucepan over medium heat.
  2. Whisk in cocoa powder and sugar, stir
  3. Stir in chocolate chips and vanilla and stir until chocolate is completely melted
  4. Pour chocolate sauce into a small dish and dip rims of mugs into sauce
  5. Pour hot chocolate into each mug, top with a scoop of ice cream and chocolate shavings
