Bold high school junior Jacob Staudenmeier recreated the opening scene to La La Land in hopes of getting a “yes” from the award-winning actress Emma Stone in a promposal. He mentions in the video that he looks like Ryan Gosling and was even willing to throw in dinner at the local Olive Garden. The prom will be held in Phoenix, which is not far from Stone’s hometown Scottsdale. Stone replied to Staudenmeier question with an apology that she will be working in London, but she wishes him well. She also mentioned that he does resemble Gosling in the eyes.
