Kong: Skull Island was a different story line compared to the 2005 Kong movie. Scientists come onto the island to search for something new, whereas the 2005 movie is simply a movie director who is trying to shoot a movie on the island. I would have to say that Kong: Skull Island is a much better movie. It has hidden humor and is not as long of a movie. I would rate this movie 8.5/10.
