Review of Passengers

        The relatively new movie “Passengers” starring Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt was really cool. I love space and special effects movies, especially when you cannot tell where the special effects are used. “Passengers” is about 5000 citizens that volunteer to go to a new planet called Homestead 2, which is basically another Earth. They are all put into hibernation for the entire voyage. While on the way during the 120 year journey, one of the passengers wakes up early. Jim Preston, played by Chris Pratt, is awake for one year by himself on the ship before he makes a decision. It is a really good movie, but it doesn’t go into depth about the characters. I recommend it though because Jennifer Lawrence is always phenomenal and not too bad to look at.
