The Bulldog football team opened up the season with a win over Cardinal Ritter. This was a
big deal considering they were the only team to beat us in the 2015 season. The game was a real nail bitter, ending with Monrovia winning 18-17. The next week the Bulldogs won a blowout against the Cascade Cadets. The following week Monrovia experienced their first loss of the season against Linton- Stockton, 23-21. Then came homecoming, where Monrovia students were full of spirit the whole week. The football team took victory over Triton Central, 34-21. The community also got to witness the crowning of the homecoming royalty: Katie Surber - Princess, Bryan Cox - Prince, Leighann York - Queen, Aaron Cravens - King.
