Most people have no clue what “bog snorkelling” means. Bog snorkeling is actually a sporting event with competitors competing in water-filled trenches. Competitors wear snorkels, flippers, and some use wetsuits. The trench’s length is 60 feet but has to be traveled twice. Bog snorkelling started in 1976 as a bar-conversation, and then people joined the event. This sport is very famous in Wales, United Kingdom. The men’s champion for 2016 is Daniel Norman with a time of 1.26.38. The women’s champion for 2016 is Anna Lohman with a time of 1.33.10. All the proceeds from the championship go to charity.
