The CDC (Centers for Disease Control) says, ¨Early class times are taking a toll on adolescents´ health and academic performance." They're encouraging school policymakers to start school later. This would make it easier for students to get 8.5 to 9.5 hours of sleep every night. There are many significant risks that come with lack of sleep: depression, obesity, and motor-vehicle accidents. The National Sleep Foundation discovered that 60% of teenagers under the age of 18 complain of tiredness during the day.
