As of August 17, 2016, history was made in the 100 meter hurdles, with three americans making a sweep taking first, second, and third in the event. This was one of the sixty-one sweeps in Olympic history. What makes this so special is it was the first sweep in the 100m hurdle event and that it was the first ever women's sweep. Brianna Rollins had a great birthday present seizing a gold medal with a time of 12.48. Nia Ali took silver with a 12.59, and Kristi Castlin captured a bronze with a slightly slower time of 12.61. Watch their win.
