On a muggy Monday night, the Monrovia Girls Golf team traveled to Tameka Woods only to find defeat. It was a hard-fought match against the Indian Creek Braves. Although many of the golfers improved their scores from their previous match, it was not enough. The final score was 237 - 204. The previous match was held at Windy Hills in Greencastle. The match against the Greencastle Tiger Cubs was the Bulldogs season opener and was also, for a few of our Bulldog golfers, the first golf match ever. The final score was 228 - 249. The Monrovia Girl’s Golf team has welcomed a few new faces this year including Leah Craig, Allison Eisenhut, Hannah Maclean and Bre Tharp. The returning golfers include Kristen Moscan, Makayla Swafford, and Grace Faulkenburg. Next week, the Lady Bulldogs will take on Mooresville, Southmont and Northview.
