Chuy's Mexican Restaurant

Staff Reporter Sam Smith
Who doesn`t love Mexican food? Personally, my favorite Mexican restaurant is called Chuy's. Chuy's has only two Indiana locations, Noblesville and Clarksville. Even though Chuy's is not necessarily close, it is well worth the drive. Chuy's restaurants are located all across the U.S. and are known pretty well in several states. They are famous for some of their signature dishes such as the Chuychanga, Chicka Chicka Boom Boom, and Tortilla Soup. The dishes that they serve are normally “Chuy packed” - you can get your money's worth and possibly have tomorrow's lunch laid out for you. You can look at some the recipes for Chuy's signature dishes. Enjoy.

Prom for Boys 101

Staff Reporter Rowan Gast-Bray
Since my fellow colleague is covering the female side of prom, it is up to me to spread my knowledge on the more masculine end of formal dances. For those of you who don’t regularly dress up in a tuxedo, there are stores around this area willing to rent you a dashing get-up. If you are acquiring your tuxedo by other means, MAKE SURE IT FITS. There is nothing that looks worse than a poorly fitted suit. For those of you who are renting your suit, make sure you price-shop and look for the best tux. A couple of nearby stores are Men's Wearhouse, David's Bridal and Jos A Bank.
Call ahead of time to make sure you reserve a time slot to pick out your tux. Make sure you are picking out your tuxedo at least THREE WEEKS in advance. It will take time for them to fit your suit and get it to you.

Getting Ready for Prom

Satff Reporter Deana Fishel

It’s that time of the year again, prom. Almost every teenage girl will stress about having a perfect night and acquiring the perfect dress, jewelry, and shoes. No need to stress though. The Bulldog Fetch wants to help as much as we can.

You can stop by RaelynnsLilliansSophia's, or Nedras to get all you need: dresses, shoes, and jewelry. These shops are located all around Indiana and have great dress for girls to choose from.

There are also consignment shops like Retulled, Off the Hanger or Bare Necessities Bridal that have many dresses to choose from. Some may also have jewelry.

Bruiser Wins!

Our school mascot has been named. The name Bruiser was selected by popular vote. Brittney Sichting suggested the name and won a $25 Ward's Apparel gift certificate.

Our mascot costume is filled by junior Gabi Ritter. Gabi reports that inhabiting Bruiser is extremely hot. She usually wears a t-shirt and shorts. What Gabi likes most about being Bruiser is that "it fills me with school spirit." Although Bruiser may appear to be ferocious, Gabi assures us that she is smiling underneath.

Top Super Bowl Commercials

Staff Reporter Rowan Gast-Bray
Super Bowl commercials have earned a legendary status for their humor and entertainment value. With millions of people guaranteed to watch each year, commercials at this time come with an incredibly steep price as well. A whopping 4.5 million dollars were spent for just a 30-second commercial. In this sense advertisers must make their money count. Commercials this year took a surprisingly somber tone. That being said, Doritos and other companies with commercials strived to make us chuckle. Here are a few of our favorite commercials from this year.

“Come Back to the Sea” - Carnival Cruises
An aesthetically pleasing and alluring conglomeration of short clips of people and the sea. This is accompanied by an inspiring old JFK speech he made at the America’s Cup (yacht race) many, many years ago. This is my personal favorite.

Doritos always comes to the Super Bowl with comedic relief. Desperate for Doritos, a young boy had to make pigs fly to prove his brother wrong and win his Doritos.

An empowering commercial sparking social change. It begs the question “since when has doing things like a girl been a bad thing?”.

XLIX Halftime

Staff Reporter Deana Fishel
Headlining one of the best half time shows in years, Katy Perry was roaring. Celebrating her Super Bowl XLIX halftime show by entering on a giant mechanical lion while wearing a dress of flames made people pay attention. Perry sang her hit songs Roar, Dark Horse, I Kissed a Girl featuring Lenny Kravitz, Teenage Dream, and California Gurls. She ended with a bang by performing Firework. Special guest Missy Elliott came out to perform one of her hit songs during California Gurls. Watch the entire show.
