Lil Diabeetus Donut Muffins

½ cup white sugar
¼ cup melted margarine or butter
¾ teaspoon ground nutmeg
½ cup milk
1 teaspoon baking powder
1 cup all purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
½ cup white sugar
¼ cup melted butter or margarine



  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees and grease mini muffin tin
  2. Mix ½ cup of white sugar, ¼ cup of melted margarine, and nutmeg in a large bowl. Stir in milk then mix in baking powder and flour until just combined.
  3. Fill muffin tins about half full
  4. Bake for 15-20 minutes
  5. While muffins are baking place ¼ cup melted butter in a bowl and in a separate bowl mix remaining ½ cup of white sugar and cinnamon.
  6. Once the muffins have finished baking pop them out of the pan and dip each muffin in the melted butter before rolling in the cinnamon sugar.
  7. Let cool and serve.
