Cranberry Crisp

  • 1 pound fresh cranberries
  • 1/3 cup Sugar
  • 2 tablespoons cornstarch
  • 1 zested orange
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup oats
  • 1/2 teaspoon sea salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 6 tablespoons cold & cubed unsalted butter
  • 1/3 cup chopped pecans

  1. Preheat oven to 375 degrees. Butter an 8-inch square pan.
  2. In prepared baking dish, toss together cranberries, 1/3 cup Sugar, cornstarch, and zest.
  3. In a medium bowl, combine flour, oats, 2 tablespoons, salt, and nutmeg.
  4. Add butter and use your fingers to work it into flour until mixture is crumbly. Stir in pecans.
  5. Sprinkle crumbs over cranberries.
  6. Bake until fruit bubbles and crumble is browned, 45 to 50 minutes.
