Mike Pence signed a law on April 9th banning women from aborting their baby if the child has genetic abnormalities, or is a certain race or gender. A woman is still allowed to abort if her own life is at risk.
Hundreds of people gathered in Indianapolis to protest his decision. They do not think it is his right to make a choice that women should make. 1,000 people chanted “Fire Mike Pence” at the state capital. Even Dr. Katie McHugh disagrees with this new law.
