Don’t procrastinate
Do apply for all scholarships you apply for
Don’t ask for letters of recommendations at the last minute
Do save all scholarship essays (you may be able to reuse them)
Don’t have a relative write your letter of recommendation
Do have an open line of communication with your guidance counselor
