Logan Review
Staff Reporter Becca Matias
This review could be put into the Top Ten category because Logan would qualify for Top Ten action movies, Top Ten superhero movies, Top Ten decapitations and Top Ten tearjerkers. It was so good I went to see it twice and hopefully once more before I immediately buy it on DVD.
Logan is continuing the trend set by Deadpool by taking the X-Men’s antihero Wolverine, and letting the writers be free to take the character to his full extent of savagery and swearing. However, Logan is different from Deadpool as it could not be considered a funny movie. Although there are a few instances of dark humor present, it is not enough to counteract the heavier scenes, nor should it.
Logan depicts the death of the X-Men as we know them. Saying goodbye is hard, especially when the characters you have known and loved for the past 17 years were just brutally murdered, but not before they were able to utter their last heart-wrenching lines. I’m not ashamed to admit that my eyes watered after seeing Sir Patrick Stewart leave the screen one last time, and tears were free-flowing when Hugh Jackman’s immortal character sacrificed himself to save the young mutants. More than anything, Logan reminded me of the joy and excitement I felt watching X-Men the first time, and thankfully through the magic of movies I can relive it anytime I want.

5 New Pups Are Welcomed to the Indiana Wolf Sanctuary
Staff Reporter Alex Batchelor
A wolf sanctuary in Indiana has been releasing videos of wolf newborns online, but the pups will not be ready for public viewing for awhile. The pups were born at Wolf Park in early April and were taken from their mother’s den last Tuesday. Dana Drenzek, park manager, said that the pups will be raised in Wolf Park's animal care center. They are to be spending time with their mother and other wolves. The pups are the most recent litter since 2012. There is a voting fundraiser to pick the names for the 2 female and 3 male pups.

Starbucks Unicorn Frappucino
Starbucks launched a brand new frappucino drink on April 19th. This sweet drink will only be available until April 23rd. With this in mind, my mother and I decided to venture over to the local Camby Starbucks and try out this frappucino that everybody is raving about. When we arrived, the drive thru was full and tons of people were walking in and out of the store with the new Unicorn Frappucino. The restaurant portrayed the sweet smell of coffee and hipsters. The restaurant was very clean and neat despite the crowd. The staff was also very nice and friendly. I ordered one Grande Unicorn Frappucino as did my mother. I took the first sip and fell in love immediately. I first tasted a vanilla flavor then it turned very fruity and sour. I thought the flavor combination went together deliciously.
"Like its mythical namesake, the Unicorn Frappuccino blended crème comes with a bit of magic, starting as a purple beverage with swirls of blue and a first taste that is sweet and fruity, but give it a stir and its color changes to pink, and the flavor evolves to tangy and tart. The more swirl, the more the beverage’s color and flavors transform," Starbucks online description reads.
I highly recommend that you try this frappucino. Starbucks never disappoints.
