How to Color Easter Eggs Using Shaving Cream

Staff Reporter Amber Schalk

  1. Get together shaving cream, food coloring, eggs, and a dish to hold it all.
  2. Spray a layer of shaving cream (only an inch deep) into the dish.
  3. Then place drops of food coloring (however many colors you’d like) randomly throughout the dish.
  4. Next get a toothpick, then drag the toothpick through the shaving cream and food coloring to make swirls.
  5. Once the swirls are how you’d like them take the egg and place it on one side of the dish.
  6. Roll the egg from one side to the other. Make sure it is in a straight line.
  7. Place egg on somewhere where it will not roll
  8. Leave here until shaving cream dries up
  9. Once the shaving cream is dry, use a paper towel to clean the shaving cream off.
  10. Now you’re left with a marbled egg!
