5 New Pups Are Welcomed to the Indiana Wolf Sanctuary

Staff Reporter Alex Batchelor

A wolf sanctuary in Indiana has been releasing videos of wolf newborns online, but the pups will not be ready for public viewing for awhile. The pups were born at Wolf Park in early April and were taken from their mother’s den last Tuesday. Dana Drenzek, park manager, said that the pups will be raised in Wolf Park's animal care center. They are to be spending time with their mother and other wolves. The pups are the most recent litter since 2012. There is a voting fundraiser to pick the names for the 2 female and 3 male pups.
