Pope Francis has opened up a laundromat for Rome’s poor. It is located in Trastevere, near the Vatican. It will be run by the community of St. Egidio. Two years ago, the Pope opened up a shower and barber service. The Whirlpool Corporation has donated 6 washing machines, 6 dryers, and several irons to the laundromat.
