Adopt a Physicist

     These last three weeks Mr. Tronc’s AP Physics 1 classes have been participating in Adopt-A-Physicist. Adopt-A-Physicist is an online program where high school science classes are matched with two physicists. The students can ask the physicists questions in an online forum and usually receive responses in a couple of hours. Questions range from their job, to their college experiences, to their personal lives. One of the scientist that Mr. Tronc’s physics classes got matched with this year with a scientist who currently works at a lab in Switzerland and woman who works in engineering.
