Christmas,
the jolly holiday that is supposed to bestow happiness upon the masses is
already not too cheery. Large franchises, such as Target and Starbucks, are
catching heat over their holiday cheer. Target is in hot water because of a
Christmas sweater saying, “OCD- Obsessive Christmas Disorder”. Some people
suffering from the illness of OCD have taken to social media to express their
issues of having a disorder used as fashion statement. Much more serious than a
cup…Starbucks new red, holiday cups have sparked an outcry! People have been
coming forward and accusing the company of taking away the Christmas décor
“because they hate Jesus”, when in actuality the new design is all about
acceptance. The red cup was intended to be a “blank canvas” to fit the needs of
individuals because not everyone’s Christmas story is the same! I hope these “issues”
are solved quickly because tis the season to be jolly…
