- 1 ¾ Cups of All-Purpose Flour
- ½ Teaspoon of Salt
- 1 ¼ Cups of Packed Brown Sugar
- 1 Cup of Butter or Margarine, softened
- ½ Cup Granulated Sugar
- 2 Large Eggs
- 2 Teaspoons of Vanilla Extract
- 2 ½ Cups of Quick Old Fashioned Oats
- 2 Cups of Chocolate Chips
Instructions:
- Preheat oven to 375 degrees
- Combine flour, baking soda, and salt in a small bowl.
- Beat brown sugar, butter and granulated sugar in a large mixing bowl until creamy.
- Beat in eggs and vanilla extract in the large mixing bowl.
- Gradually beat in flour mixture.
- Stir in oats and chocolate chips, mix well.
- Drop by rounded tablespoons onto a baking sheet.
- Bake 9 to 10 minutes for chewy cookies or 12 to 13 for crispy cookies.
- Cool on baking sheets for 1 minute before removing them.
