Fabulous Fries

Try these unusual french fry recipes to spice up your dinner plans.


Baked Parmesan Zucchini Fries


1 ½ cup bread crumbs
1 ½ cup parmesan cheese
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon black pepper
½ tablespoon salt
5 zucchini
½ cup all purpose flour
3 eggs



  1. Preheat oven to 425 degrees F
  2. Spray a cooling rack with nonstick spray and place onto a baking sheet or cover a pan with parchment paper
  3. In a large bowl combine breadcrumbs, parmesan, garlic powder, salt and pepper
  4. In a medium bowl beat eggs
  5. Quarter zucchini lengthwise and then cut in half, makes 8 fries per zucchini
  6. Place zucchini and flour in a large plastic bag and shake to coat
  7. Remove zucchini fries from bag and coat in eggs then breadcrumb mixture and place on baking sheet
  8. Bake for 20-22 minutes until golden brown and crisp
  9. Enjoy!


Garlic Bread French Fries
1 loaf of French bread
6 tablespoons of unsalted butter
2 tablespoons of olive oil
3-4 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon chopped parsley
½ teaspoon salt
Pepper to taste
Marinara sauce for dipping


  1. Preheat oven to 375
  2. Cut bread in half lengthwise then cut each section in half again and finally cut strips to a length of 3 inches
  3. Place fries on baking sheet
  4. Melt butter and olive oil over medium heat, add garlic cook for 45 seconds
  5. Add parsley, salt and pepper to the pot
  6. Drizzle butter mixture over fries
  7. Bake 20-25 minutes until brown and crispy
  8. Serve with marinara sauce for dipping


Loaded Garlic French Fries
1 bag of frozen french fries
6 cloves of garlic minced
1 teaspoon salt
2 tablespoons canola oil
Chopped parsley to garnish

  1. Cook fries according to directions on bag
  2. When fries are cooked place them in a large bowl
  3. Add garlic and oil to a small pan and heat to medium
  4. Cook for 15-30 seconds
  5. Toss fries with garlic oil mixture and salt
  6. Garnish with parsley and enjoy!
